Derek Wyllie is Co-Founder, APAC Commercial Strategy at EMINO WORLD. With more than 20 years of leadership experience across Asia Pacific, Greater China, the Middle East, and Latin America, he has built and scaled consumer brands through retail, wholesale, ecommerce, and distributor channels.

He has held senior leadership roles across internationally recognised brands including Dr Martens, Rockport, Skechers, New Balance, Converse, Hoka, and Foot Locker. His experience spans 12 APAC markets and 23 international distributor territories, combining brand growth, market development, distributor governance, and full commercial accountability.

With 12 years living and working in Hong Kong, Derek brings deep regional operating experience and a practical understanding of how brand strategy becomes executable commercial growth.

Most advisors tell brands how to enter markets. Derek has spent more than two decades doing exactly that from inside consumer businesses.

Across his career, he has led commercial growth, market development, and channel strategy across Asia Pacific, Greater China, the Middle East, and Latin America. He understands what brand principals expect, what distributors need to believe, and what must be true operationally for expansion to work in the real world.

Derek's background combines general management, P&L leadership, distributor development, retail expansion, and omnichannel transformation. He has operated at scale, including leadership responsibility for a 230-store national retail and brand portfolio business with more than 2,000 employees, and full accountability across merchandising, marketing, operations, finance, ecommerce, and people development.

His strength lies where brand ambition meets commercial reality. He helps brands identify the right markets, build confidence with the right partners, and create the operating structure required to turn strategic intent into measurable growth.

Evon Ho-Wyllie is Co-Founder, Legal, Governance & Compliance at EMINO WORLD. A law graduate of the University of Liverpool (LL.B Hons, CLP), she has spent more than two decades as in-house counsel and compliance lead inside financial institutions across Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Middle East — spanning insurance, retail banking, investment banking and rating agencies.

Before settling in Hong Kong, she headed Legal, Compliance & Risk Management at Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC). For the past 15 years she has served as counsel and compliance head for financial institutions in Hong Kong, with mandates spanning the US, UK, China, India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

At EMINO WORLD, Evon is the reason "we advocate on your behalf" is more than a slogan. Brand licensing, distribution agreements, corporate structuring, cross-border regulatory frameworks — everything the studio builds, she makes sure it stands on defensible ground.

Evon Ho-Wyllie（何優文）是 EMINO WORLD 的聯合創始人之一，負責法律、治理與合規。她畢業於英國利物浦大學法律系（LL.B 榮譽學士、CLP 執業資格），二十多年來在金融機構內部擔任法律顧問與合規主管，足跡橫跨馬來西亞、香港與中東，領域涵蓋保險、零售銀行、投資銀行及評級機構。

返港定居前，她曾任馬來西亞評級機構（MARC）法律、合規與風險管理主管；過去 15 年，她在香港多家金融機構出任企業內部法律顧問及合規主管，專業版圖覆蓋美國、英國、中國、印度、中東、東南亞、澳洲與紐西蘭。

Most creative agencies call a lawyer when something goes wrong. EMINO WORLD was co-founded by one — so things tend not to.

Evon read law at the University of Liverpool and trained at established Kuala Lumpur firms before moving in-house, building a career across financial institutions in Malaysia and Hong Kong and leading a consultancy practice in the Middle East. Before settling in Hong Kong, she headed Legal, Compliance & Risk Management at Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC).

For the past 15 years she has been in-house counsel and compliance head for financial institutions in Hong Kong — across insurance, retail banking, investment banking and rating agencies. Her work covers regulatory strategy, cross-jurisdictional compliance architecture, regulator and stakeholder relations, and building compliance regimes that hold at regional and global scale.

Beyond financial services, her practice extends to cross-border commerce, manufacturing, distribution, brand and marketing, corporate governance and structuring. She is legal advisor to the Hong Kong Pet Trade Association (HKPTA) and the HK3C Association, an appointed observer of the Hong Kong Police (Kowloon East) Animal Watchers Programme, and Hong Kong ambassador for the Scottish Business Network. She is also a Partner at Chiong & Partners, leading the firm's cross-border commercial, financial, family office and trust practice.

金融以外，她的執業延伸至跨境商業、製造、分銷、品牌與市場、企業治理及架構設計。她現任香港寵物業商會（HKPTA）及 HK3C 協會法律顧問，獲香港警務處（九龍東）委任為「動物守護者計劃」觀察員，並擔任蘇格蘭商業網絡（Scottish Business Network）香港區大使；同時為 Chiong & Partners 合夥人，主導事務所跨境商業、金融、家族辦公室與信託業務的海外拓展。
